Stanthorpe State School offers a wonderful tuckshop for all students and staff to enjoy each Wednesday and Friday. Morning tea and lunch can be ordered from a delicious array of home cooked meals and snacks, all in accordance with Qld Health's Smart Choices, ensuring our children are receiving the healthiest and highest nutrition from our menu, with less fat, sugar and salt content. The menu is seasonal, changing each term.
There are two ways students can order tuckshop, either hand in a bag to tuckshop order and money included, or online through the QKR! app.
Orders for tuckshop can be made on paper bags (Bags are available from the Tuckshop). Please write your child's name, class, order, prices and cost of order, and any change required. Change will be placed in your child’s tuckshop order bag. Each class has a tuckshop box where orders are placed before school. Tuckshop boxes are returned to child’s class at each break.
Over the counter sales for drinks and snacks can be made when children are released from eating area.
Orders for tuckshop made online are made through the QKR! app. Qkr
(pronounced - Quicker) is a FREE app to enable mobile payment for school-based
accounts. The app enables parents and carers of students at Stanthorpe
State School to use their smart devices and computers to place tuckshop orders,
purchase school hats, Indigenous shirt and make other payments, saving time and alleviating the
hassle of having to give your child money to carry to school.
Once an order has been made on the app Stanthorpe State School receives a
detailed report of all payments. Orders are generated and filled accordingly.
Nb. Tuckshop orders close at 9.00am on Tuckshop days.
For those without access to a smart phone, a web-based version of Qkr is
available at:

If you have any questions regarding the use of the app please use the Qkr help
page or speak to our friendly office staff.
Help in our tuckshop is always very welcome and there are many, many ways in which you can offer your assistance including:
- Volunteering your time, even for only 30 mins, on Tuckshop Days (Wednesday & Friday);
Asking a neighbour, grandparent, or family friend to help out in tuckshop. A school is a community resource and anyone in the community can help out! (Volunteers who do not have children at school will need a blue card. This can be arranged, for free, online through the Blue Card Portal);
Join our baking roster or donations roster.
Tuckshop is our schools primary fundraiser. All proceeds go towards improving resources, programs and facilities for our children.
