Volunteering opportunities at our school
Our school is all the better for the active and positive involvement of our parents and families. If you're looking for a proactive way to help at school, there are a myriad of volunteering roles in which you can do just that!
Classroom helpers are always greatly appreciated by our teachers and can assist immensely with the delivery of literacy programmes such as reading. Please make contact with your child's class teacher for specific ways in which you can be involved.
Our Librarian is always keen to have the assistance of parent helpers and with so many books to cover, there's no shortage of work to share around! To offer your time to the library, please make contact with our office.
Tuckshop is a very popular service provided to our staff and students and operates every Wednesday and Friday, serving morning tea and lunch. Our tuckshop team consists of a wonderful group of friendly parent volunteers who generously give of their time each week to prepare wholesome, healthy and homemade goodies and serve them with a smile. We also have regular volunteers who kindly donate pantry items to our tuckshop, such as flour, butter and other useful ingredients which assist our tuckshop to create their delicious fare at very affordable prices.
If you would like to be part of the creative cooking team, or would like to donate goods to our tuckshop, please come visit our tuckshop team in the tuckshop any Wednesday or Friday morning. Allow some time to have a cuppa and a chat and make yourself part of this great group of people.
All parents, family and friends of our school are encouraged to come along to our monthly P&C meetings, on the 1st Wednesday of the month during school terms. Meet other school parents and get involved in decision making which ultimately leads to positive planning for our school.
